The Wide Bay Women’s Health Centre Inc. provides a free and confidential counselling service, information, resources, education and support for women and young women in our community.
We are here to support women through the many challenges and changes in life, offering a safe, caring and non-judgemental environment where you can talk, learn and grow.
Our
Story
The Wide Bay Women’s Health Centre Inc. began in 1989 when local women recognised the need for more resources and support services in the Hervey Bay and Maryborough regions.
Since then, we have continued to grow and evolve, working alongside our community to provide programs and services that support the wellbeing of women and young women from all backgrounds.

The Wide Bay Women’s Health Centre is about positive personal and social growth. We believe in support women to take control of their lives and to participate in making decisions which affect their wellbeing.
